Duliajan is situated in the northeastern corner of India and is renowned for being the headquarters of OIL India Limited, a Navratna company involved in oil exploration and crude oil transportation through its own pipeline division. It is also home to the Assam Gas Company Limited, which specializes in LPG production. Nearby, the North Eastern Electric Power Corporation (NEEPCO) generates electricity. Duliajan is well-known for its lush greenery, oil fields, and tea plantations.
